My father was an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Air Force. He had a few quirks, and one of them was keeping up with the latest theories on the JFK assassination. He even went the extra mile to collect what he could. He had the ticker tape from the New York times as the story broke over the wire, the life magazine with JFK on the cover, and a few odd documents. He wasn’t a fanatic… but he paid attention.

There are several theories throughout the JFK assassination that center around the question, “How could the secret service let this happen?” There are even theories that the Secret Service may have mistakenly pulled the trigger that caused the kill-shot. The problem with the JFK assassination has always been evidence. Very few cameras, as they were expensive in the sixties, and to be honest… they weren’t that good. If there was a government cover-up, it would have been very easy.

It seems, almost sixty-one years later, we are dealing with “How could the secret service let this happen?” again. However this time, there are tons of cameras, tons of of evidence, and cover-ups will be a lot more difficult.
