America is off track. Many will agree with that. But few are talking about HOW it’s off track. For as long as I can remember, when it comes to an election, when Americans are shouting for change — the underlying theme is economic.

Without a doubt, “America being off track” is on the tip of everyone’s tongue, if they aren’t already shouting about it at the top of their lungs. Yet this is the first election since the time of Abraham Lincoln where the social structure of the United States is the main theme. It’s true that people are struggling with cost of living, but instead of cost of living being driven by economics, it’s being driven by social structure… and people don’t even realize it.

The middle class has never been more under threat in the United States than it is now. That is the squeeze you are feeling. The worst thing that can happen to you is to be born into poverty, because it can be tough to get out of. Although the majority of rhetoric in the media and online still centers social mobility around identity politics. Who loses out in the middle class in 2024 is massively different than who was losing out in the 1970s. Yet, in the headlines, on podcasts, identity…
